Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Assemble products and components per engineering drawings, blueprints, and/or work instructions. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively. • Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. • Identify and report defective parts, materials, or equipment to the supervisor. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with 5S standards. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Meet production schedules and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to solve problems and improve processes.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical/electrical work preferred. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions. • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. • Basic math and measurement skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. • Repetitive use of hands and tools required. • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
