Seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team, supporting customers with installation, start-up training, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical air, vacuum, and gas pipeline equipment. This role is critical to ensuring quality, compliance, and minimizing downtime for healthcare providers. Job Duties:
Perform start-ups, in-service training, preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical gas and vacuum systems
Guide and support Field Service Technician I team members
Conduct warranty evaluations and component replacements both in the field and in-house
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and product manuals
Support after-market sales activities and customer service needs
Travel for field assignments (up to 40%, including overnight, sometimes on short notice)
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and company procedures
Qualifications:
3–5 years of electrical/mechanical experience (field service experience )
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or Technical Certificate
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills (PLC controls and pneumatics a plus)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid U.S. driver’s license (clean record) and ability to obtain a passport
Willingness to pursue ASSE Med Gas 6040 Certification (company sponsored)
