Railyard Operations Planner and Gate Clerk , you will play a crucial role in the smooth functioning of our daily rail operations by managing a dynamic dual role that combines load planning and gate management. This position is perfect for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities

Load Planner Responsibilities

Efficiently coordinate the loading and unloading process of inbound and outbound units onto trains. Ensure the correct handling and positioning of trailers, chassis, and containers. Maintain accurate load data and update the BNSF HUB Planner and other systems. Conduct yard checks to confirm proper loading of outbound units. Communicate effectively with yard crews, dispatchers, and supervisors. Monitor checkpoint performance and suggest process improvements. Gate Clerk Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact at the gate, warmly greeting and assisting drivers/customers. Inspect trailers, chassis, and containers, documenting conditions with thorough reports. Update systems in real-time with inspection and gate-processing information. Handle inbound customer calls promptly and professionally, resolving inquiries and concerns. Assist with documentation, inspections, and reporting to support yard and gate operations. Keep assigned workstations and equipment tidy and organized. Qualifications

1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or terminal operations preferred. Familiarity with intermodal/railyard operations is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with strong, professional communication abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong willingness to work in an office environment, with some tasks requiring extended periods indoors. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively to ensure smooth operations. Valid driver's license required for company vehicle use in yard checks and inventory tasks. Must pass pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening.
