We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to be instrumental in supporting our Consumable and Machine divisions in Cleveland Operations. This role is vital in designing and maintaining electrical systems for equipment used in manufacturing welding machines and consumables, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Enhance equipment reliability, safety, and ergonomics by modifying solutions in compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 450001, and other EHS standards.
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
Maintain and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs across various control automation platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, and Beijer.
Update and support National Instruments LabVIEW code for testing applications and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility projects effectively.
Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations and coordinate with electricians for documentation updates.
Generate capital cost estimates, timelines, and review quotations for industrial equipment.
Lead project initiatives, tackle complex problems, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Manage external engineering and construction teams, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Integrate equipment into data collection systems and establish effective network topologies.
Support network backup, device management, and inventory of control system assets.
Compile data from interconnected devices for organizational use and set standards for hardware and software in control systems.
Assume additional project responsibilities aligned with Lincoln Electric Company’s 2025 Higher Standard Goals.
Qualifications:
Level II: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 3+ years of experience.
Level III: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 5+ years of experience.
Level IV: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 8+ years of experience.
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software is required.
Proficient with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and associated test equipment, including Rockwell, Siemens software, and National Instruments LabVIEW.
Familiarity with NFPA 70, 70E, and 79 codes and regulations.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and SQL Database.
