We are a limited-service renovated property in the heart of King of Prussia and are currently looking for polished, organized, creative, and hospitality-minded individuals. This exciting position could open doors to professional development opportunities within this market. Guest Service Agents support the sales & catering team, food & beverage, and many other departments throughout the hotel. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be knowledgeable of the area, possess excellent computer skills, and must enjoy conversing with a diverse public. Requirements for this position would include previous customer service experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, cash handling experience, knowledge of Marriott computerized systems, and the ability to work flexible hours. Lastly, strong leadership abilities are attributes that are required for this position. Responsibilities: • Greeting and welcoming guests, providing a positive first impression. • Managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently. • Assigning rooms and issuing room keys. • Providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. • Addressing guest complaints and resolving issues promptly and professionally. • Arranging services such as transportation or making restaurant reservations for guests. • Making, managing, and confirming reservations via phone, online, or in-person. • Processing payments and managing cash and credit card transactions accurately. • Maintaining detailed records of guest accounts and room availability. • Answering incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately. • Collaborating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs. • Maintaining a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area. • Managing mail and packages for guests. Qualifications: • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure a positive guest experience. • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively. • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks. • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of hotel reservation systems. • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Accuracy in handling guest information, payments, and reservations. Compensation: $17 hourly
