Looking for a fast paced, high intensity, highly rewarding position with a major USG defense contractor? Join the BAE shipping team and take on the following roles and responsibilities.
As a Shipping & Export Clerk you will:
Process shipments of various types in efficient and timely manner to include, but not limited to FedEx shipments, Truckload, flatbed, and LTL shipments via 3PL web portal, hazmat BOLs in compliance with 49CFR Processing shipments via Govt web portal TEAMS Process shipments via Govt web portal SIRS Execute shipment entry for Govt material exercising extreme level of detail to documented shipment process Shipment of export material to various international locations Working knowledge of current export rules and regulations Reconcile systematic vs physical inventory of Non-Conforming parts in shipping area Root Cause Corrective Action for NCR issue items Record and display shipping metrics on common use RotoCube Daily white board communications to union staff members Ensuring supplies for shipping are kept in stock Incident management as needed Posting over time needs and recording / maintaining hours charged for union OT Entering work orders for repairs as needed Processing job packets for shipment Communication of SO pick needs to warehouse personnel Follow up on aged materials in shipping dept. Adhere to all FARS and DFARS rules and regulations. Willingness to go where needed to support business objectives and outcomes.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills :
Bachelors degree with 2 years working experience in Transportation/Shipping/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience. Team oriented Willingness to be flexible with work schedule Proficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPoint Excellent Communication skills Able to resolve problems Attention to detail Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School dipoloma & 3 years working experience in a related field.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors degree with 2 years working experience in Transportation/Shipping/Manufacturing, or equivalent experience. Team oriented Willingness to be flexible with work schedule Proficient in Microsoft excel, word, and PowerPoint Excellent Communication skills Able to resolve problems Attention to detail Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :
Working knowledge of export rules and regulations Understanding of DOT rules and regulations Experience working with union personnel Prior management / supervisor experience is a plus Hazmat experience
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $50268 - $85455
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
