Job Summary:
Our client, a respected medical foundation in the Bay Area, is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The receptionist will manage telephone communications, schedule appointments, verify patient information, and assist with general administrative tasks to support smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming telephone calls and relay messages efficiently through the clinic’s call center. Verify patient demographics and insurance information accurately. Schedule and confirm patient appointments in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Review patient medical records to assist with inquiries and provide necessary information. Coordinate and process Release of Records requests timely. Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage. Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk.
Required Qualification s: High School Diploma or GED. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening. Excellent interpersonal skills and professional telephone etiquette. Legible handwriting. Basic computer skills, including keyboarding, mouse navigation, and accurate data entry into EMR systems.
