Job Summary

The Mechatronics Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and integrating electrical, mechanical, and control systems to create high-performing automated solutions. This role requires leveraging a strong understanding of mechatronic systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system performance and reliability to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design and Development: Develop and implement mechatronic systems and components, including sensors, actuators, and controllers, to improve product performance. Programming: Design and implement control algorithms for automation systems using programming languages such as Python, C++, MATLAB, or PLC programming tools. Integration: Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems into seamless automated solutions for manufacturing or product applications. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct rigorous testing and diagnostics to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with engineering standards. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and production staff, to achieve project goals. Optimization: Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement, optimizing efficiency and functionality. Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, technical reports, and user manuals. Compliance: Ensure all systems meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Innovation: Stay updated with advancements in mechatronics, robotics, and automation technologies to recommend and implement innovative solution Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5- 7 years minimum experience in designing and developing mechatronics or automation systems. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools. Expertise in programming and developing control algorithms for automation systems. Experience with PLC programming and control systems. Knowledge of robotics, automation, and system integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environments. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT and digital twins. Familiarity with advanced programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB. Proven track record of successful cross-functional project management.
