At KOA, you'll join a

where engineers own projects end-to-end. You'll work on systems that soon will operate at the scale of modern analytics platforms -
high-volume, low-latency, and deeply queryable . Every line of code you write will contribute directly to defining the future of AI monetization. What You'll Work On
Example projects you might own: Building
real-time data pipelines
with Debezium to stream changes from PostgreSQL to ClickHouse for analytics. Reducing
p99 latency
in core write paths by optimizing SQL execution, implementing retries, and enforcing strict timeouts. Designing algorithms to
tune CTR and conversion metrics
in our ad matcher from impression/click data. Running regression analysis to improve
predictive ad matching features . Setting up
experiment tracking and observability tooling
with logs and custom metrics. Our Stack & Tooling Infra:
Render (app + workers), AWS (RDS, S3, Kafka), Grafana Data:
PostgreSQL (primary), ClickHouse (analytics), Redis (caching/rate limiting) Core Stack:
Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript SDKs:
Flutter, React Native, Android (Kotlin, Compose), iOS (Swift) Who We're Looking For
You might be a fit if you: Enjoy debugging and
optimizing system performance . Are detail-oriented and back decisions with data. Like
owning platform projects
that support product teams. Thrive in experimentation, measuring, and building reliable systems. Want to move fast while keeping reliability top-of-mind. Requirements 3-5 years of experience as a
fullstack or data engineer
at a startup with large-scale data systems. Experience with both
batch and real-time data processing . Strong background in
data infrastructure, feature engineering, and ML platform pipelines . Exposure to
Kafka, ClickHouse, Redis , or similar tools. Solid
CS fundamentals
(degree in CS/STEM or equivalent experience). Strong full-stack knowledge, from backend infra to data pipelines. Comfort working in a
fast-paced startup environment . Compensation & Perks Salary:
