Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Preconstruction Manager to guide and oversee construction opportunities from the RFP stage through estimating and preconstruction, leading up to a successful buyout and purchasing phase before transitioning the project to Operations. This role will require close collaboration with Corporate Operational leadership, Estimating, and key internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and effective proposal development during the project pursuit and pre-construction stages. Key Responsibilities: Lead all project pursuit and pre-construction deliverables starting from the project’s inception in collaboration with Corporate and Operational leadership. Thoroughly review project documentation for quality, content, and constructability. Identify necessary deliverables for project pursuit and pre-construction, assigning tasks to the appropriate stakeholders. Manage project timelines, establishing deadlines to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables to clients. Work with corporate marketing to craft compelling proposal documents as needed. Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project pursuit and pre-construction phases to foster success. Evaluate potential risk factors and discuss these with management. Facilitate constructability resolutions and seek pricing for alternative design concepts. Oversee the development of preliminary construction schedules in alignment with cost estimates. Review cost models during pre-construction and bidding periods. Assist in the preparation of contract documents. Engage with Operations leadership, scheduling, estimating, legal, cost control, and procurement teams. Monitor design progress to ensure alignment with defined cost, schedule, and quality criteria, revising proposals and addressing constructability issues as necessary. Qualifications: Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry. Desirable multidisciplinary experience across Preconstruction, Estimating, and Operations. Experience in estimating and scheduling is preferred. Familiarity with computer-based estimating systems is advantageous. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficient in problem-solving while effectively mitigating conflicts between parties. Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions. Coordinate responsibilities of team members in preparing estimates and budgets. Understand and adhere to client-specific standards. Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend time in an office environment with varying noise levels. The role requires frequent sitting, talking, and the use of hands for keyboarding and writing, along with the ability to walk and perform visual tasks such as depth perception and adjusting focus.
