About the Opportunity Are you ready to power the future of industrial innovation? ADF Engineering is seeking a driven and detail-oriented

Electrical Engineer

to lead the design of low-voltage power distribution systems for a wide range of cutting-edge industrial and commercial projects. From food processing and biosciences to renewable fuels and advanced manufacturing, you'll help shape the electrical backbone of some of North America's most exciting sectors.

You'll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering high-impact results for clients-including Fortune 500 companies.

What You'll Do

Own the Design:

Lead the electrical design for low-voltage (600V and below) power distribution systems.

Ensure Quality & Compliance:

Apply NFPA 70E, NEC, and local/state codes to meet the highest safety and design standards.

Perform Power Systems Analysis:

Conduct short circuit, arc flash, coordination, and load studies using industry-standard software (e.g., SKM, EasyPower).

Design and Specify Equipment:

Develop one-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and specify MCCs, switchgear, and distribution panels.

Client Interaction:

Collaborate directly with clients during design, construction, and commissioning phases-occasional travel required ( Support Construction:

Provide field support, troubleshoot during commissioning, and ensure designs translate to real-world performance.

What You Bring Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for industrial/commercial environments

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit

Familiarity with the National Electrical Code and industry standards

Experience using power systems analysis tools (e.g., SKM, EasyPower)

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Field or hands-on commissioning experience in industrial or manufacturing settings

Consulting engineering experience

Project management capabilities or interest in growing into that role
