Oncology/Urology Medical-Surgical Unit . Upon graduation, you will work a full-time (36 hours/week), day-shift position with an every other weekend rotation. The shifts are 12 hours in length and the hours are 6:45 AM 7:15 PM. Whats in it for you? 120 hours of Classroom (and Online) training at Manchester Community College as well as simulation lab training 60 hours of clinical training at Catholic Medical Center

Opportunity to obtain a NH Nursing Assistant License to practice as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the state. Placement into a full-time position at Catholic Medical Center once licensure has been issued. 2000 hours of on-the-job training with a mentor

Increases in your pay as you meet milestones along the way A National Occupational Credential through the Department of Labor

What you need to do: Ability to attend and travel to class, lab, and clinical assignments for 6 weeks

Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (8 hours/day)

Maintain a 100% attendance rate for the entire training

Classroom and Clinical

Ability to complete all homework and other class deadlines as assigned Ability to pay for any course related supplies and textbooks that may be required Complete the six-week training program and obtain a NH Nursing Assistance License. Acquire an American Heart Association BLS certification prior to being placed into a full-time LNA position Once you are a LNA this is what you will do: Under the guidance of Registered Nurses, your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, mealtime support, performing vital signs checks, and checking blood sugars. Additionally, youll lend a helping hand with transfers and ambulation, contributing to our patients' comfort and well-being.
