In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO to craft and execute financial strategies that resonate with our mission and amplify our growth objectives. Your expertise will strengthen decision-making processes among the executive team, serve as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors, and guide all budgeting, forecasting, and reporting initiatives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and managing the financial aspects of grants and contracts. A successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA being highly desirable. You should have a minimum of 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within nonprofit or mission-oriented organizations. You will need to demonstrate strong knowledge in grant compliance, financial reporting, and fund accounting as well as experience with nonprofit audits, GAAP, and diverse funding streams. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, and you should be adept at budgeting, forecasting, and crafting insightful financial reports.
