Reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this position is responsible for understanding, supporting, and executing the company's strategic plan while achieving regional sales growth objectives. The individual will manage and deploy all available resources to actively develop new business and channel relationships while maintaining and growing existing business.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Exhibit and continually develop attributes and characteristics of a world class sales professional. Achieve established sales growth objectives through the development and execution of a regional action plan for the identification and development of new business. Develop comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Marra Forni product line categories, technologies, and related applications as well as those of the competition. Engage, train, develop, and manage representative agencies within the established regional geographic territory to develop profitable sales opportunities utilizing all market resources available. Maintain aggressive travel schedule a regular call frequency in assigned markets. Understand, actively engage in and maintain Hubspot CRM activities for tracking of business relationships, and all active leads and sales opportunities in order to accurately forecast and report future sales. Work collaboratively with representative agencies and market channel partners to develop relationships and create and drive marketplace demand through the specification of Marra Forni products. Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key end users, consultants, dealerships, chain accounts, and non-commercial business segments within the assigned territory. Effectively manage schedule, travel planning, and related expense budget. Regularly report on marketplace activity and provide competitive intelligence. Understand and enforce corporate sales policy and work collaboratively with all company functions. Manage customer communications and expectations in the field, and act as liaison between industry disciplines and Marra Forni where required to manage conflict and resolution. Perform other job-related tasks as assigned. Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. 3+ Years of equivalent work experience. Minimum Qualifications:
Up to 70% travel required. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and communication skills (interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation). Proven sales ability to develop new opportunities at a variety of levels. Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. Problem solving and creative thinking. Negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining positive behavior. Time and resource management skills. Strategic planning and execution. Budgeting and sales forecasting. Computer and software proficient in MS Office and other applications required. $85K - $125K annual (DOE). Sales Bonus Program. Travel Expense Budget.
