Tool Repair Technician

Description and Responsibilities

As a Tool Repair Technician, you will be at the forefront of our repair process. You will work collaboratively within a team environment, focusing on tool inspection, repair, and maintenance. This role requires regular interaction with customers and effective communication across departments to ensure timely and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

Tool Inspection & Diagnosis Inspect tools and equipment for defects or signs of damage Disassemble tools, diagnose issues, and identify faulty components Repair, Quality, and Calibration

Perform repairs on various power tools and hoists Replace defective parts, including motors, gears, and electrical components Reassemble and test tools to ensure proper functionality Clean tools and conduct quality checks to uphold safety and durability standards Perform ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibrations Customer Communication

Interact professionally with customers to provide updates and gather repair-related information ERP Data Entry

Accurately enter repair information into the ERP system Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required Solid knowledge of tool mechanics and repair procedures Proficient in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair machinery Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems 1-2 years of technical experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment preferred Preferred Experience with the following tool types:

Pneumatic tools Transducer-controlled tools Controllers Battery tools (transducerized, clutch, etc.) ADE systems Hoists Skills and Competencies:

Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills Excellent verbal and written communication Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards Compensation:
