Pay Information $2,391 per week About The Position Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Evening Flex Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Three or more years of ER experience Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision Description: Opening for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse in a busy trauma level 3 department. The nurse will work day/evening flex shifts with one or two other nurses and a full-time ER physician. This is a new, clean, modern facility in a rural area. The position requires the ability to assess, prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and evaluate the nursing care provided. The nurse ensures the provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through the utilization of the nursing process, established standards of care, policies, and procedures. The RN is responsible for the written Nursing Care Plan and acts as the patient advocate. The RN is also responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned. The RN reports to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor.
