Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedics - Unit Information: Number of Beds- 32 individual rooms Number of Staff- 50 Type of staff: Day Shift- 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 3 PCTs, & 1 HUC. Night Shift- 1 charge RN, 5 RNs, 1-2 LPNs, 2PCTs, & 1 HUC Patient Ratios: Day shift 5:1 (6:1 stretch), Night shift 6:1 (7:1 stretch) Type of equipment: Walkers, Bedside Commode, Bladder Scanners, CPM, Sky lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Lift, Maxi Move, vital sign machine, hover mat, bair hugger, & Wheelchairs EMR- Cerner List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Dressing changes, suture/staple removal Foley Catheter NG Tubes Wound Vac maintenance and removal Requirements: Must have: NC License BLS Preferred or nice to have: Hospital experience, Ortho experience Best personality Fit: Team player and ability to adapt to fast-paced environment. Ability to care like family. Floating Area(s): Other Med-Surg units Dress Code: RNs Navy, PCTs Galaxy Blue, LPNs Sage Green Weekends and on call (if any): Every other weekend.
