We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps/OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer to support large projects for the State of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. This role involves providing leadership, mentoring, and consulting with development teams to ensure platform alignment with business application requirements. A strong understanding of APIs, micro-services development, containers, and supporting platform technologies is essential.
Qualifications: Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including designing and implementing ADO Wiki, Work Item structures, Pipelines, ADO GIT repos/branches/Pull Requests, and related standards and processes. Hands-on experience in automating CI/CD on RedHat OpenShift/OCP, Linux, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle, etc. Experience creating ADO Build and Deploy Pipelines for Java and .Net Apps. Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift V4 and troubleshooting application issues. Experience with Docker and S2I images, Stateful sets, and container orchestration. Deep knowledge and experience with the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) version 8.X and higher. Experience with SonarQube/Coverity/Black Duck and integration into ADO Pipelines. Experience with Linux scripting, .ksh, bash, and Python. Strong knowledge of SSL, TCP/IP Networking, LDAP. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Required Experience and Skills:
8 years of experience working on Kubernetes/OpenShift. 8 years of experience in Linux shell scripting. 5 years as an expert in application containerization management. 5 years of experience in DevSecOps practices, infrastructure, scripting/programming.
