Overview
Strategic Solutions LLC is seeking a qualified LeapWork Test Scripting Resource for a contract opportunity to support automation testing efforts across Judicial Information Systems (JIS) applications. The selected resource will be responsible for script design, development, deployment, mentoring QA staff, and ensuring best practices in alignment with ITIL standards.
Minimum Qualifications
The proposed resource must meet the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems or a related field.
Valid LeapWork Test Automation Certification (earned within the last 3 years).
Proven experience in planning, designing, scripting, and deploying automation scripts within testing environments.
Hands-on experience with LeapWork test scripting configuration and development.
Ability to train QA staff on efficient LeapWork functions and ensure knowledge transfer.
Strong background in ITIL best practices and test automation leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop, and deploy test automation scripts for JIS applications.
Configure and optimize LeapWork test scripting solutions per project requirements.
Mentor and train QA staff, transferring knowledge for long-term sustainability.
Build LeapWork framework based on prioritized test cases.
Develop manual and automated test scripts aligned with application requirements.
Document troubleshooting steps, create reports on execution results, and log defects.
Produce detailed documentation and training materials to support ongoing automation efforts.
Provide support for LeapWork modules, including transitioning work documentation to clients.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality assurance across new, existing, or rebranded modules.
Skills & Experience
Experience:
10+ years in Quality Assurance, including requirements review, scenario design, and test script development.
8+ years across multiple IT environments (cloud and on-premise).
3+ recent engagements with LeapWork test scripting (within past 36 months).
Familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester).
Abilities:
Thoroughly document and troubleshoot errors.
Interpret test cases for high-level and functional processes.
Work effectively in a collaborative and virtual environment.
Knowledge of:
Testing methodologies and QA best practices.
SQL fundamentals.
Web and desktop applications.
Data-driven automation, sub-flows, locator control, scheduling, dashboards, and reporting.
Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Performance troubleshooting and system test life cycle management.
Process and gap analysis techniques.
