Maintenance Technician Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate, diagnose & repair equipment including (but not limited to): AC Motors, DC Motors, Electrical Wiring up to 480V, Pumps, Valves, Gearboxes, Refrigeration Compressors, Cooling Towers, Evaporators, Air Compressors, Mobile Equipment, and Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment.
Familiarize yourself with our LOTO procedures for specified equipment.
Fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
Knowledge necessary to maintain hydraulic systems including pumps, valves, cylinders, rams, filtration and drive motors.
Safely remove/replace defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoist, cranes and hand/power tools.
Demonstrate the ability to lubricate all equipment as specified on routines and PMs.
Knowledge of pipe system components (flanged and threaded connections) and the proper sealant choices for given services (high and low temperatures, water, oils, and gas).
Fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment.
Experienced in rigging, burning & welding.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; particularly relating to LOTO, hot work, and confined space entry.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Read & understand engineered drawings, sketches, schematics, and layouts.
Demonstrate a consistent safe work attitude.
