Job Summary: We are seeking a mature and experienced dental assistance to join our teams ideal candidate should know how to chart findings in Open Dental, Overjet, Nomad X-ray system, and help the doctor chairside with four handed chairside assisting skills.
Duties:
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures by charting and setting up appointments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards
Take digital dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records
Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
Perform tasks such as itero scanning, zoom whitening, making night guards.
Manage inventory and supplies in the dental office
Qualifications:
Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program or 1-2 year minimum experience.
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
Experience with doing ZOOM Whitening
iTero Scanning Expereince.
Knowledge of prosthodontics, general dentistry, endodontics and Invisalign.
Familiarity with Open Dental
Understanding of dental anatomy terminology.
Experience with AI Overjet software
