Position Description As the Controller, you'll ensure accurate and timely financial reporting under GAAP, manage consolidation, and support SEC reporting, ensuring QCi's growing reporting obligations are met effectively.

Strong Controller leadership is essential to ensure reporting accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the company grows.

Duties and Responsibilities - Oversee full-cycle accounting: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, accruals, reconciliations, and close processes. - Coordinate and prepare quarterly 10Q and annual 10K submissions, including management's discussion and analysis (MD&A). - Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and internal controls reviews. - Maintain SOX compliance frameworks and internal control documentation. - Prepare monthly and quarterly financials, variance analysis, and forecasting models. - Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and investor relations. - Manage the preparation of SEC compliance packages and XBRL tagging. - Implement scalable financial processes for a growing public tech company.

Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred. - 5+ years in public company accounting, SEC reporting, audits, and GAAP; ideally in tech or high-growth environments. - Demonstrated experience preparing SEC filings (10Ks, 10Qs), familiarity with XBRL, SOX controls, and audit coordination. - Excellent technical skills in ERP (e.g., Netsuite, Oracle, SAP), Excel modeling, and financial consolidation tools. - Strong communication and leadership skills-able to translate complex financial data clearly.

Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience with Nasdaqlisted or emerging public companies. - Exposure to financial services or software-as-a-service (SaaS) business models. - Background or understanding of emerging technologies (quantum, photonics) with related revenue recognition complexity. - Experience with investor reporting and SEC comment letters.
