Receiving/Inventory Clerk - Houston, TX
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a Receiving/Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic team in Houston! In this role, you'll be responsible for handling incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring our warehouse is well-organized.
What You'll Do: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality Record and update inventory levels in the system to ensure stock accuracy Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations Assist in cycle counting and inventory audits to prevent discrepancies Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to manage stock levels Handle documentation, such as invoices, packing slips, and reports Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary) Ensure all safety and quality standards are met What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in inventory management, receiving, or warehouse operations Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (experience with inventory software is a plus!) Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent communication and teamwork skills
