SKL'D is hiring a
Stand-Up Forklift Operator
on behalf of our baked goods manufacturing client in
Norcross, GA . This temp-to-hire role is essential for keeping warehouse operations efficient-receiving ingredients, managing inventory, and shipping frozen bread products to customers. Forklift operators will spend time in various environments, including freezer, warehouse, and loading dock.
Steel-toe, non-slip shoes are REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate a stand-up forklift Receive and organize incoming ingredients in storage areas Manage outgoing shipments of frozen bread products Load and unload trucks with accuracy and care Perform daily forklift inspections (pre- and post-shift) Conduct daily inventory counts and report discrepancies Follow all
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
and food safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Requirements Experience operating a stand-up forklift (certification preferred) English/Spanish Bilingual Knowledge of
food safety practices
and commitment to GMP guidelines Ability to work in freezer conditions for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Flexible availability-rotating off days Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality standards
