About Our Client
Our client manufacturers various brackets, fuel straps, and other components that major automotive OEMs use regularly. They prioritize their domestic operations here in the Chicagoland area, and are looking to expand their quality team to maintain their competitive position in the market.
Job Description
Work within the ERP system and QMS to manage documentation on all quality control findings Handle corrective actions and respond directly to the customer on a daily basis Utilize 8D and other core tools to determine root cause, working cross-functionally with production Work with suppliers, engage in PPAP/APQP activity Involved in all audits, internal and external, providing critical support to the team More responsibilities as assigned MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
3-5+ years of quality/manufacturing experience, in an automotive environment Experience with 8D corrective actions Strong working knowledge of PPAP/APQP Experience in metal stamping, forming, or welding strongly preferred QMS/EMS management experience Audting experience preferred Customer and Supplier direct interaction experience Bilingual in English/Spanish a huge plus What's on Offer
