Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in surface preparation or a related field. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in surface preparation. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in automotive, industrial, or commercial painting environments. Familiarity with different types of paints, primers, and surface materials. Certification in paint preparation or related technical training. Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations specific to paint preparation. Operate and maintain preparation tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with painters and supervisors to coordinate preparation schedules and meet project deadlines. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations related to paint preparation and handling materials.
