RIZZO International, Inc. is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with 2-15 years of experience to join our Pittsburgh, PA office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of geotechnical projects with a focus on dam safety, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis. This role will involve participation in all phases of our projects - from planning and feasibility studies to conceptual and final design - with opportunities for both field and office work. A Master's or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering may be considered in lieu of some experience. Skills & Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform geotechnical calculations and analyses for seepage, slope stability, shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and tieback anchors. Prepare technical reports, design and construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation. Plan subsurface exploration programs and laboratory testing investigations. Conduct site reconnaissance and execute subsurface investigations to support design work. Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects. Assist with dam safety inspections and other field evaluations. Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction. Domestic travel required (~15%). REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-15 years of relevant geotechnical experience (Master's counts as 1 year; PhD counts as 2 years). Experience with geotechnical analysis software such as GeoStudio, STABL, SLIDE, or LPILE. Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and teamwork skills. U.S. employment authorization. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 1-2 years. Master's or PhD with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering. Experience with FEM/FDM software such as PLAXIS 3D, Midas 3D, or FLAC3D. Programming or scripting skills for engineering applications. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ 60,000 - $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
