Summary
The Logistics/Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations by handling both shipping and receiving activities. This position is responsible for accurately receiving incoming inventory, preparing and shipping outgoing orders, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Receiving & Material Handling
Safely unload and check in incoming shipments.
Verify and document received materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
Restack and put away pallets, bins, and boxes in designated storage areas.
Downsize, condense, and reorganize inventory to optimize warehouse space.
· Shipping & Order Fulfillment
Organize outbound shipments to ensure efficient pickups.
Load trucks safely while maintaining positive relationships with drivers.
Process returns and special shipments as needed.
Secure outbound skids using wrap and/or banding.
· Warehouse Support
Assist with order picking, packing, and replenishment as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Support other warehouse operations to meet company goals.
· Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1–2 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehousing.
· Forklift experience/certification preferred.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems a plus.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Pay: $18 - $20 per hour + incentive opportunities
