Salary Range:
$128,000-148,000 USD annually

What you will be doing:
As a Lead Process Engineer, you will drive the development, implementation, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes to support operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker and experienced engineer who can independently manage high-impact projects, mentor engineers, and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency across operations. You will serve as a senior technical resource, providing guidance in troubleshooting, process design, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement aligned with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage high-level process engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes that improve safety, reduce cost, and increase efficiency and product quality. Oversee the scale-up of processes from R&D to full production; ensure processes meet performance standards. Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues and develop long-term sustainable solutions. Conduct complex data analyses to evaluate process performance; drive continuous improvement through KPIs and statistical methods. Mentor junior and senior engineers; provide technical leadership and ensure best practices are adopted. Support facility-wide initiatives for Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO compliance. Design and implement equipment upgrades or new systems; support lifecycle management of production assets. Participate in strategic planning, including budgeting and capital projects, related to manufacturing operations. Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or related engineering field preferred. 7+ years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role. What you need:
Expert in process design, process optimization, and project management. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred). Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks), data analysis tools, and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship capabilities. In-depth knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and safety compliance. Familiar with equipment maintenance strategies and root cause analysis (RCA/CAPA).
