Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Telemetry (Tele) assignments in Knoxville, TN !

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)

Number of Openings: 5

Start Date: 10/6

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3x12's) /Nights (7p-7:30a) / Every other weekend

Setting:

Med/Surg Tele Float Pool

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent RN Med/Surg Tele experience

TN RN or Compact RN license

BLS and ACLS (AHA), NIHSS

As aprofessional practitioner, the RN - Telemetry assumes the responsibility andaccountability for delivery of patient care of telemetry patients. The RN -Telemetry demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effectiveand efficient manner, with supervision. The RN - Telemetry exhibitscritical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care,and consistently performs according to nursing standards while remainingaccountable for providing patient care and assisting others in the managementof patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which the nurse practices

One year experience in Telemetry Preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
