Description: The Giants Robotics Club provides Alden-Hebron High School students with opportunities to design, build, and program robots using VEX Robotics materials and the Robotics C++ program. Students participate in local, state, and occasionally national VEX Robotics competitions.
The Robotics Coach will: Serve as a mentor and supervise two robotics teams during club sessions and tournaments. Oversee meetings held on select days after school from September through March. Accompany and supervise students at 3-4 Saturday tournaments between December and March. Complete an online training course to learn VEX systems and programming. Support and guide students by learning alongside them throughout the process. Qualifications:
Strong interest in mentoring and supporting students. Willingness to learn robotics systems and programming (no prior experience required). Strong organizational and supervisory skills. Availability for after-school meetings and weekend tournaments.
