Youth Advocate Programs
Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., a national non-profit, is seeking Part Time Advocates and Bi-Lingual Advocates to join our team in our Alameda County program. As an Advocate, you play a crucial role in advocating for the needs and interests of youth in our community. You will have the opportunity to support and empower youth and families to make positive changes in their lives and provide them with the resources they need to succeed.

Summary of the Position:
Hourly, Part Time position serving youth and families throughout
Alameda County
are available.
Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settings. The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families. All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model. This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, and activity reimbursement.
Hourly Pay:
$24.00
Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources. Previous experience working with youth or in community service environments a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with diverse youth populations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of youth development principles and resources available in the community. Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude in dealing with challenging situations. Position requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage.
