full-time Assistant Director of Nursing
to join our team at
NortheastCorrectional Center
located in
Bowling Green,Missouri.
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve health care of incarcerated offenders.
Full Time -Day shift, 8 am-4:30 pm; Rotating on-call schedule, every third week
Qualifications
Must hold valid RN license in Missouri. Baccalaureate Degree preferred Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active AED/CPR certification Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice environment preferred
