Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a well-established team dedicated to supporting the development and sustainment of the Open Systems Architecture Simulation Framework (OSF) under the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the OSF lifecycle of software development efforts, which include development, integration, and deployment for MDA test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and tactical software.
Responsibilities
Support the development, integration, and deployment of OSF for MDA test and analysis efforts.
Work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop systems and tactical software.
Enhance understanding of the missile defense system and integration of elements into OSF for MDA ground test campaigns.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution.
5-20 years of experience in software engineering.
Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and Python, including object-oriented programming.
Active Secret security clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and scrum/agile software development.
Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks.
Working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols.
Work Environment
The role requires working on-site in a cleared environment, embedded with the prime and other contractors. You will be working with advanced hardware and all-digital representations of complex missile defense elements, supporting future needs on MDA/Golden Dome. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
