In this role, you'll provide day-to-day oversight and operational leadership of the Sleep Laboratory, working closely with the Medical Directors and Administrative Director. You'll directly supervise both technical and administrative staff, using input from the Medical Director and Principal Technologists to guide workflows, evaluate performance, and implement processes that drive quality and efficiency.

Responsibilites:

Manage the daily operations of the Sleep Lab to ensure smooth, compliant, and patient-centered care

Supervise and support technical and administrative staff, including monitoring workflows and conducting performance evaluations

Oversee budget preparation and monitoring, including monthly and annual reports, payroll, and variance analysis

Manage inventory and materials, ensuring resources are used effectively and efficiently

Support educational programs, including coordination of the Residency and Fellowship programs

Identify and bring forward grant and research opportunities for review by Medical Directors

Draft and edit reports and communications, including those related to sensitive personnel and funding matters

Work collaboratively across departments to gather data, track progress, and ensure timely completion of shared initiatives

Lead staffing and HR processes for the Sleep Lab, including recruitment, onboarding, and personnel support

Serve as a backup and team partner within the broader Clinical Neurophysiology management group

Salary Range: $45.69-99.76/hr Qualifications

A bachelor's degree or equivilent experience is required, while a master's degree is preferred

3-5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred

Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)

BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross -

Strong background in sleep laboratory operations, including compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements (e.g., AASM, Joint Commission)

Expertise in polysomnographic testing, scoring, and sleep study interpretation.

Proficiency in budgeting, payroll management, and inventory control to ensure financial efficiency.

Experience implementing and improving workflows, protocols, and operational procedures in a clinical setting.

Strong data analysis skills to track and report performance metrics.

Proven ability to supervise, mentor, and evaluate technical and administrative staff.

Experience in staffing, recruitment, and HR processes, including scheduling and performance management.
