Mule Driver
Yard tractor/UTR is equipped with dash mounted gear selector; right accelerator foot pedal and left brake pedal.
Dashboard is equipped with running light buttons. § Must be able to turn head toward rear when in reverse.
Must wear seatbelt at all times.
YARD TRACTOR
Completes visual safety inspection of Yard Tractor and reports any damages or needed repairs to head mechanic.
Climbs steps to reach chassis platform to bend at waist to attach Glad Hands cables to chassis.
Hooks and unhooks safety chains possibly on mafi trailers.
Obtains instructions from Superintendent and Clerks regarding work plan.
Verbally communicates as needed.
Required Safety Gear must be worn at all times to include: Safety vest, safety glasses, steeled-toe shoes, and hard hats must be worn on terminal or in yard.
