Janney's Corporate Internship Program is a 10-week paid opportunity beginning

June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026,

for students entering their senior year of undergraduate study who are on track to graduate in Spring/Summer 2027.

The

Janney Capital Management Intern

will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in Fixed Income Portfolio Management. This roll will support Janney Capital Management's fixed income investment process, including analytics, research, and trade execution. The candidate will work closely with an experienced team that makes day-to-day investment decisions for Janney's clients, will have exposure to senior investment professionals, and will speak with trading counterparties outside of Janney.

Operate in a fast-paced investment environment. Responsibilities:

Learn to build credit research models from first principles which JCM uses for fixed income buy/sell/hold decisions. Update and maintain our existing models with an eye towards introducing more automation into the credit research process. Build and update strategy-wide and portfolio specific investment analysis tools (Bloomberg & Excel/VBA) to help automate aspects of the fixed income investment process. Summarize and present outside research for investment team consumption. Prepare customized fixed income proposals for Financial Advisors & clients. Identify ways to make our proposal process more efficient. Propose fixed income trades to benefit Janney clients, under supervision. What you have:

Significant quantitative skills including investment math basics and an intuitive understanding of calculus concepts. We won't ask you to calculate partial derivatives on the fly. Excellent computer skills, including Excel proficiency and experience with one or more finance/economics-oriented programing languages (e.g. Python, R, VBA, Eviews, Stata). Curiosity and a willingness to employ it. Desire for a career in the investment management industry. Program Eligibility Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college/university and actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science majors strongly preferred Must be a rising Senior (graduating in Spring 2027) Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) during the internship Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Recruitment Timeline:
