Help a child succeed! Volunteer in Paradise

Join our award winning Volunteer In Paradise (VIP) program recently certified by Points of Light as a Service Enterprise, recognized by the Arizona School Boards Association with the Golden Bell Award in 2017 and the National School Boards Association with a First Place Magna Award in 2015. Community members are invited to become VIPs and provide academic assistance and mentoring to students in kindergarten to sixth grade. Children throughout the large and diverse Paradise Valley Unified School District are in need of additional support. Work 1:1 or with small groups of students in math and/or reading. On campus and online tutoring opportunities available. Prospective VIPs are invited to attend a volunteer orientation to learn more.
