Are you ready to join a mission-driven team dedicated to leveraging blockchain technology to combat crime and enhance global safety? At TRM Labs, we're looking for a dynamic Director of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to lead our HRBP function as we navigate rapid growth and increasing complexity. In this role, you'll work closely with our executive teams in R&D, GTM, and G&A to ensure our people strategy aligns with our ambitious goals. As the HRBP Director, you will first immerse yourself in our culture and operational model for three months, stepping into a player/coach role. This hands-on experience will equip you with the insights necessary to later lead our HRBP team effectively. Your mission will be to elevate organizational leadership, design robust talent systems, and mentor HRBPs to deliver significant outcomes. Your Responsibilities Include: Phase 1: Player/Coach (First 3 Months) Quickly gain an understanding of our operating model and culture. Deliver core HRBP responsibilities such as organizational design and team health. Set the standard for fast-paced, impactful HRBP work. Phase 2: Team Leadership Lead the HRBP team, managing HRBPs and overseeing their strategic partnership. Build team standards for execution, documentation, and coaching effectiveness. Ensure the team prioritizes high-leverage issues and measurable outcomes. Key Areas of Responsibility: Conduct HRBP and manager quarterly 1:1s. Implement reflections cycles between managers and HRBPs. Enhance HRBP coaching to foster strategic partnerships. Identify and support vulnerable teams. Oversee talent retention strategies. Coach managers to close leadership gaps and improve performance. Guide performance management through expectation setting and feedback. Execute engagement survey action plans and improvements. Manage the HRBP playbook for onboarding and off-boarding processes. What We Are Looking For: 7+ years of HRBP experience with executives across various functions. Experience leading HRBPs in a high-growth startup setting. A strategic mindset that encourages growth through inquiry and feedback. Ability to turn insight into action and thrive under pressure. Excellent written communication skills that support our async culture. Comfortable with ambiguity and high-performance standards.
