Volunteers Needed! English, Writing, Social Studies, Science

Durham Literacy Center's Youth Achievement Program is now looking for volunteers. We are looking for community members to help young adults, aged 16-24, prepare for their High School Equivalency English subject tests. Registration is now open for Summer 2025 - July 14 - August 28 Fall 2025 - September 02 - December 11 Spring 2026 - January 05 - June 18 We need volunteers with the ability to support Teaching Elementary English Teaching Middle School English Writing Social Studies Science Training is required and ongoing. All lessons and planning are completed by staff. Access to supplemental materials to assist is also available.
