Fayette County Volunteer Guardian Program

The VGP trains and matches volunteers who become the legal "Guardian of the Person Only" or substitute decision-maker for individuals with no money, or family support, and whose ability to make personal & medical decisions has diminshed. Those served usually live in a nursing home, group home, or other protected setting. It is the volunteer's goal to enhance the equality of life for the person served by advocating for the best possible daily & medical care. Someone needs you....because not everyone has someone. The VGP also serves Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin & Pickaway Counties.
