Job Title: Senior Engineer V

Shift time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Summary
Job duties may include: management and development of new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed; active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business; researching, collecting, and analysing data for the strategic decision-making process in new project developments. Education/Experience:
Bachelor Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Possesses five to seven years of experience. Requirements

PLS Tower Lattice Tower Load Calculation California Civil PE License required (Structural preferred) Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in Civil (Structural) engineering Minimum of 7 years' experience in the Transmission line engineering field PLS TOWER (PLS CADD), FAD TOOLS Minimum of 7 years' experience in the Transmission line engineering field Responsibilities:
Lead all Transmission line structural engineering tasks related to lattice towers (Structure and Foundation) in complex transmission line projects. Act as a subject matter expert in PLS Tower analysis and/or modeling of existing and new lattice tower structures following ASCE and SCE standard and specifications. Act as a subject matter expert in design or review of new or existing Transmission line foundations (Drilled concrete shaft, direct embed, Micro pile and Grillage) using FAD Tools, hand calcs or similar programs. Perform Transmission line structural Load calculations based on NESC, California General Order 95, or other applicable codes and resources. Lead construction administration efforts including coordination with field personnel to resolve design-related construction issues, support emergency restorations (wildfire, storm and other incidents) and field inspections. Prepare engineering mitigation reports for damaged Transmission line lattice towers and damaged footings. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to SCE's transmission engineering practice, mentor and guide less experienced engineers. Build effective relationships with other responsible entities in our organization. Responsible for QA/QC process adherence, compliance with company and site safety policies.
