Job Title: Medical Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting medical intake procedures, including recording vital signs and patient history. You will play a key role in recording and reporting symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patients’ conditions, performing immunizations and injections, and conducting phlebotomy. You will also document patient care, complete medical prior authorization, and collaborate with the clinic team to coordinate patient services. Creating a warm and welcoming experience for every patient is essential in this role.
Responsibilities
Conduct medical intake procedures, including taking vital signs and patient history.
Record and report symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patients’ conditions.
Perform immunizations and injections.
Conduct phlebotomy procedures.
Document patient care accurately and timely.
Complete medical prior authorization and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with clinic team members to coordinate patient services.
Assist with front desk tasks, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting and processing payments, and verifying insurance information.

Completion of a Medical Assistant training program
Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred—or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire

Work Environment
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. There are some extended hours on a rotating bi-monthly basis where you may work late till 8 pm one day a week and/or work on Saturday, ensuring not to exceed 40 hours per week. If you work on a Saturday, you will have a Friday off.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
