Responsibilities include: Communicating, collaborating, and cooperating with colleagues, supervisors, and students. Providing direct or consultative services to identified students. Problem solving to meet students' needs. Serving as liaison with school personnel, family, physicians, and agencies through written and/or oral communication. Providing training to the appropriate persons to carry over therapy goals in the school setting. Ordering, adapting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to meet student needs. Attending and participating in IEP and other team meetings. Evaluating, assessing, and screening students. Establishing and maintaining appropriate records, reports, and procedures. Setting up, maintaining, and cleaning treatment areas and P.T. equipment. Traveling to meet job requirements.
Program services include: functional mobility, environmental adaptations/adaptive equipment, positioning, gross motor function, and sensory processing.
