$17 - $25.50 Department Details Support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address Receive mileage reimbursement Enjoy premium pay rates, including: $5/hour premium on all hours worked $1.25/hour weekend shift differential $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Experience Requirements: 6 months of Long Term Care Experience preferred, 3 months required Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 30 hours per month One weekend shift per month Job Summary The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a vital member of our team, providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities and health care needs, under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include: Delivering age-appropriate care as per care plans Assisting residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and vital sign monitoring Providing emotional support and promoting well-being Facilitating meal preparation and enhancing the dining experience Documenting care interactions and communicating changes in resident conditions to nursing staff Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain residents' living areas Encouraging participation in wellness and recreational programs Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 18 years of age Experience in long-term care preferred Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or be enrolled in a training program to obtain certification within four months Ongoing training and competency testing required annually May require a valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle report Benefits The Good Samaritan offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance programs, and generous paid time off to support your well-being.
