Queen's Habour has a very prestigious and well looked after Tennis club - We are currently looking for an early morning shift employee to do routine maintenance on the property including the tennis courts primarily. Day to day duties will include - Cleaning, sweeping and leaf blowing of the eight tennis courts on the property. Filling water jugs and keeping ice stocked for participants and tennis members, hooking up tennis lines and overall tidiness of the area. The following listed below is an absolute plus but this role will primarily serve for the tennis community inside of Queen's Harbour and it's extended parties coming in to participate. Perform minor repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Have a strong janitorial background. Cleaning fitness equipment, bathrooms, mopping, dusting and vacuuming. Conduct routine inspections of common areas, amenities, and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Must be able to create own work and task lists. Power washing, and debris removal. CPO certification a plus but not mandatory Assist in maintaining and repairing community facilities, including pools, clubhouses, and playgrounds. Respond to service requests and work orders in a timely manner. Monitor, resolve and report any safety hazards or urgent maintenance issues to management. Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Communicate effectively with HOA board members, residents, and vendors as needed. Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in general maintenance, janitorial and handyman services, or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in building trades, maintenance, or handy work. Prior experience in an HOA envionment is highly preferred. Proven expertise in various miscellaneous repairs. Skills and Abilities
Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills. Positive attitude and track record of delivering exceptional service. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to detect auditory/visual emergency alarms and respond promptly. Proficiency in completing work orders and required forms. Education and Certifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Any certifications in HVAC, CPO, Electrical are much appreciated. Computer Skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical Demands
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. using appropriate safety procedures. Stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, and climb stairs and ladders. Work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain). Navigate properties/buildings efficiently to meet job requirements. Perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers.
