A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected; Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care; Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department; Assists physicians during examinations and procedures; Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse; Performs a variety of tasks; Communicate and educate patients and families; Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team; Carries out physician orders; Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs; Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required; Monitors, records and communicates patient condition; 3 x 12s is also available at same facility and position ** ACLS requird About HonorVet Technologies
