Schedule Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description We are seeking a qualified ICU Registered Nurse to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care skills and experience managing a variety of critical conditions.
Responsibilities
Efficiently manage patients with external ventricular drains (EVD) and multiple medication drips.
Perform comprehensive assessments utilizing CAM, CPOT, and RASS tools.
Care for trauma patients of varying severities.
Administer hypothermia treatment and manage pleurevac chest tube drainage.
Utilize Allscripts EMR effectively.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including hand hygiene practices.
Follow standard operating procedures and critical care best practices.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school.
RN License to practice in New York State or by reciprocity.
Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience preferred.
Certifications: AHA BCLS, ACLS, PALS required upon offer; CCRN and TNCC preferred.
