Exciting Opportunity: Seeking Experienced Apartment Community Assistant Manager Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $23.00/hr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Primary Responsibility
The Assistant Manager is a customer service specialist responsible for collecting and posting rent, following up on delinquent residents, processing purchase orders and invoices, and other duties as assigned by the Community Manager. The Assistant Manager should be capable of conducting business operations in the Community in the absence of the Community Manager. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable: post rent and payments in Yardi; set up residents for online, electronic, and WIPS payments; address late payments per IPM policy with notices and follow-up; make bank deposits daily; notify about NSF checks within 24 hours and follow up within 48 hours. Move-out, collections, and reporting: file evictions, conduct move-out inspections and manage in Yardi, turn over bad debts for collection, process SURE deposits within 72 hours of move-out, prepare month-end reports as required. Operational and vendor management: ensure PO policy compliance, process invoices, manage vendors (Vendor Caf), and review budgets weekly for variances. General duties: use Yardi for reporting, answer phones, assist in leasing activities and resident relations, support renewal/retention programs, pre-inspection walks with the Service Manager, maintain policies, assist with the turnkey process, monitor leasing activity reports, complete the Utility Log, enter service requests, and back-up the Community Manager as needed. Experience and Qualifications
Two years of experience in the multi-family apartment industry. Experience dealing with customers or the public; leasing/customer service and collection experience is helpful; management experience is helpful. Education: High School Diploma or GED required; business school, college, marketing or related courses preferred; proficiency in MS Office; Yardi experience is a plus. Skills: high energy, customer-service orientation, proven leadership, effective verbal and written communication, professional demeanor, and flexibility to assist the Community Manager (may require hours outside published office hours).
