Responsibilities
Summary:
The Clinic Director for Team Rehabilitation is a model for the Physical Therapist who wants ownership in a clinic while still having the support of a company. Primary responsibilities include growing, developing, and managing an outpatient physical therapy clinic. The role focuses on delivering exceptional physical therapy with measurable outcomes and regularly exceeding industry standards.
Strategic Planning:
This is a partnership. The Clinic Director is key in clinic setup. If opening a new clinic, will provide input on clinic location and clinic layout.
Take control of Quality of Care in the clinic with a patient-centered approach tailored to each patient’s goals.
Maintain normal Physical Therapist responsibilities plus hiring and managing the right staff.
Marketing:
Support marketing initiatives and collaborate with fellow clinics’ marketing efforts.
Maintain relationships with key physicians and referral sources to promote Team’s commitment to care and increase patient referrals.
Attend community events and functions as arranged by Marketing.
Financial and Operational Management:
Keep the clinic full of patients by overseeing scheduling and treatments that enhance the patient experience.
Manage productivity and set clear, measurable expectations.
Manage the clinic budget to support financial health; monitor expenses.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations; stay informed on changing policies.
Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management for accurate billing and reimbursement.
Monitor KPIs to maximize clinic performance and profitability.
Provide input on policies, procedures, and strategy to ensure high-quality care across Team Rehabilitation clinics.
Handle patient feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
Leadership and Staff Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop clinic staff; foster a collaborative and growth‑oriented environment.
Manage employee schedules, performance reviews, and training.
Promote staff engagement and retention through effective communication and support.
Foster a diverse, respectful, and positive work environment.
Qualifications
Doctorate or Masters in Physical Therapy
Desire to own/run clinic
5+ years of proven experience with a track record of exceptional patient care
Dedication to education and ongoing growth as a Physical Therapist
Commitment to Team’s initiative of making DEI a priority – bringing belonging and empowerment within a diverse workforce
